Futhi wathatha indebe, wase ebonga, futhi wabanika yona, wathi, Phuzani nonke kuyo; Ngoba lokhu kuyigazi lami lesivumelwano esisha, elithululwa ngenxa yabaningi ngenxa yokuthethelelwa kwezono” (UMathewu 26:26-28).

Amazwi KaNkulunkulu Abalulekile:

Ngesikhathi, eNkathini Yomusa, uNkulunkulu ebuyela ezulwini lesithathu, umsebenzi kaNkulunkulu wokuhlenga sonke isintu empeleni wawusuqhubekele esinyathelweni sokugcina. Njalo lapho labo bantu benkolo behlangana, bayabuza, “Dadewethu, unjani kulezi zinsuku?” Yena aphendule, “Ngizizwa nginokumbonga uNkulunkulu nokuthi angikwazi ukufeza isifiso senhliziyo Yakhe.” Omunye athi, “Nami, futhi, ngiyambonga uNkulunkulu futhi angikwazi ukumgculisa.” Le misho embalwa namazwi kodwa kukhombisa izinto ezimbi ezisekujuleni phakathi ezinhliziyweni zabo. Bahlale beqonde ngqo futhi abayihloniphi imithetho yasemhlabeni. Kunalabo abanothando lokubukisa nokuziveza ingaphandle, ngisho noma kungenzi mqondo. Uma omunye ecula, uqala ukudansa, angaboni ngisho nokuthi ilayisi elisebhodweni lakhe selishile. Lolo hlobo lwabantu abanabo ubunkulunkulu, noma abahloniphekile, futhi bakhonze kakhulu ukudlala. Ukumbonga kwakho uNkulunkulu akuhlanganise lutho nabanye abantu; unokubonga uNkulunkulu, hhayi umuntu. Ngakho kusiza ngani ukukhuluma ngakho sonke isikhathi kwabanye? Kumele wenze mqoka ukungena kokoqobo, hhayi ukukhuthalela ukubukwa noma ukubukisa.
